Carmel’s $20,000 Day

Luck must have been in the air for Carmel, our deserving VIP Major Draw Winner, when she received a call from a friend asking if she’d just won a big prize…
“It was the day after someone from Caloundra won $60m in Powerball,” Carmel says, “and a friend called up to see if it was me. I said no, but then a day later I found out I’d won the VIP Club 1st Prize Draw!”
Carmel, who has been a VIP Club Member since 2006, was instantly $20,000 richer just by being a VIP.
“We’ll use some money for a holiday, and put the rest away for a rainy day.”
“I’ve never won anything more than fifty bucks, so this was such a nice surprise,” Carmel tells us.
Carmel and her husband run their own business, and will use the money to take a holiday, and put the rest away “for a rainy day.”
Carmel says she plans to continue her support for Deaf Services through our free VIP Club.
“Being a VIP is awesome,” she says. “I don’t have to worry about buying tickets. I just sit back and wait for that phone call to tell me I’ve won!”
